A Manzini business symposium examined how technology, finance and a clearer view of costs can support enterprise productivity.

A September 2026 symposium held alongside the Eswatini International Trade Fair brought small-business productivity into focus. UNDP’s account describes discussions about technology, operational costs and the practical conditions enterprises need to grow.

The event took place under the CREATE initiative, which connects renewable-energy transition with support for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. Its published scope includes investment assessments, development of bankable proposals, financial-sector engagement and coaching.

The message for the public is that energy and technology are part of ordinary business decisions, not only specialist policy subjects. This article reports the themes of the event; it does not advertise an open application round or promise individual business savings. UNDP’s report provides the programme and event context.
