Eswatini prepares a regional platform for sustainable-energy innovation

Ezulwini is set to host a regional energy gathering in March 2027, with awards recognising practical progress in sustainable energy.

The 2027 SADC Sustainable Energy Week is scheduled for 15–19 March in Ezulwini. The programme is expected to bring together public institutions, utilities, investors and energy innovators from across the region.

Eight award categories are planned, covering areas such as energy efficiency, renewable generation, clean cooking, finance and access to electricity. Promotional information indicates that applications open on 19 October and close on 20 November. Prospective applicants should confirm the current eligibility rules and submission process with the organisers.
